My friend Vonda is due with her second daughter in June. They're naming her Carolina. North Carolina's state flower is the dogwood, so I'm cross-stitching her a dogwood birth announcement. Thanks for the inspiration, hon!

Dogwood has the prettiest flowers and the way you shot it, they look like they are glowing!

Hi Tink, thanks for visiting! I loved the moon shot on your site. Very well-framed!

Debbie - Thanks for visiting! I do live in a nice place, but I'd rather be at the beach :-)

CMGD - So glad I inspired you today! You'll have to post a pic of the finished product! (You know, I lived in NC for 14 years!)

Daryl - Thank you! That tree is so gorgeous right now. I had to get some shots of it.

DMD - Thank you! Nice to see you.

Maggie - Yes, this dogwood is a different variety. The blooms are somewhere between fuschia and red.

Jennifer - The nice thing about photos is that we always have them. I'm thinking of using this as my wallpaper for the season.

David - This is a dogwood that is in my front yard. It's so beautiful right now. I wish it would stay this way.

Peace - D
