Meyers-Briggs for your Blog

Thanks, Marty, for pointing me toward Typealyzer, which analyzes blogs based on Meyers-Briggs personality typing. According to the analysis, "the author of is of the type:

ESFP - The Performers

The entertaining and friendly type. They are especially attuned to pleasure and beauty and like to fill their surroundings with soft fabrics, bright colors and sweet smells. They live in the present moment and don´t like to plan ahead - they are always in risk of exhausting themselves.

The enjoy work that makes them able to help other people in a concrete and visible way. They tend to avoid conflicts and rarely initiate confrontation - qualities that can make it hard for them in management positions."

Ding ding ding ding ding! I think we have a winner.

Hey I tried it and I came up as "The Doers"

The active and play-ful type. They are especially attuned to people and things around them and often full of energy, talking, joking and engaging in physical out-door activities.

The Doers are happiest with action-filled work which craves their full attention and focus. They might be very impulsive and more keen on starting something new than following it through. They might have a problem with sitting still or remaining inactive for any period of time.

I'm all set to take the "test." I like you "ding, ding, ding." Isn't it amazing how a few well stated questions can peg you so well? Living in the moment is good. When else should you live, really?

I find these tests very suspect .. often there are either more than one response that fits OR there are none .. maybe its me.... LOL ... what a shock that would be .. NOT

Definitely not me! Would like to entertain though.

Marty - No problem! It was fun, although the last time I took the Meyer's-Briggs assessment, I was an INFJ.

Julian - Always nice to see you here. I have no doubt we have a good deal in common! :-)

Jay - I used to be an entertainer, then I got married and had children. Funny how that changes things!

Brit - Good to see you! Have fun analyzing your blog.

Lavinia - I think it nailed your personality!

Cloudia - Nothing wrong with a bit of frivolity, eh?

Ruth - Yes, I've had to learn to live in the moment more, lest I would drive myself nuts.

Daryl - Yeah, I know. But they are fun sometimes, particularly when my laptop is gone!

CJ - I suspect you would be an excellent entertainer.

Maggie - True, but it analyzes your blog, not you. All I had to do was plug in my blog name. Of course, it's probably just a randomizer.

Peace - D

I am an ISFP - The Artists.

The gentle and compassionate type. They are especially attuned their inner values and what other people need. They are not friends of many words and tend to take the worries of the world on their shoulders. They tend to follow the path of least resistance and have to look out not to be taken advantage of.

They often prefer working quietly, behind the scene as a part of a team. They tend to value their friends and family above what they do for a living."

Thsi may be completely random, but it nailed me to a T. Scary . . .
