Security Words

Lately I've been noticing that when I am presented with a security challenge on the blogs on which I respond, the jumble of letters have actually been forming words. I mean, is it just me? Once upon a time, they were so definitely NOT words that I had to be careful to type them just right. Now...I just look at the word (though it's a nonsense word) and type it. Maybe they're running out of random strings of letters?

Today I came across this one: POOLOG. Poo log?

That's exactly what I found when I first got out of bed, too. Bodhi woke me up with a guilty look on his face. He apparently couldn't wake me up BEFORE he had to go, so I had to clean up the POO LOG before having my coffee. Ick.

Things are still busy here, but I wanted to leave you with my favorite SNL clip for Christmas. Enjoy! I'll be back soon! Peace - D

Hi RiverPoet,
Isn't it always the way that our little fur babies always seem to leave "little presents" just as we plan to eat?! My little Minnie loves to do this and I'm sure she times it just right!

That's a shame I can't open the video as it is saying here that it can only be streamed within the United States :(
Big Hug! x - Oops the security code here now is "oesses" - I can imagine it's pronounced "Oasis" hehe

Yes,,,,,,,, I can't open it either.
It is not your imagination that the word verification has changed to much more rememberable state. Even if they are not actual words they are very word like. Your poo log was very funny.
As I don't have a dog, I can liken my youngest granddaughter to the poo thing! She lets us sit down for a meal, goes off to the loo and calls for a bottom wipe! Isn't that enough to put anyone off their food?!

Word verification....... surside

I've noticed that too about word verification. For example I've now got to type fuverob to post this comment!

I've noticed the same thing with the verification letters.

At first I thought ours for me now was "conanny" and it made me thing GO Nanny! But on second look turns out it's "conamy" - oh well, close enough. lol

For months friends of mine and I have been exchanging the 'words' and making up little poems and prose about them, so it was fun to bump into your commentary and post and see what others are also noticing.

One of my blogger friends just posted that Bodhi Day is on December 8; he gave the 'details/history', and I see you have a 'Bodhi' who has found the meaning of 'suffering just a wee-pee-bit' - for you, that is. Smile - just trying to make a little funny off your story.

Just passing through - I expect you didn't give your dog his name by 'random chance', so possibly you'll be waiting until Monday, December 8, to make your post about the meaning of Bodhi Day, etc. etc.

Oh yes, and my word verification is:

moicioni - how about that for a name to give to a parrot???? Definitely sounds Italian to me.....

It's not just you, Doris. My word verification code for this comment is CABILIN. Wonder how that's connected to my life. It does sound a bit more promising than POO LOG. I hope.

Thanks for the SNL.

Hey Doris. Just wanted you to know I read about your Thanskgiving Day disappointment. I'm sorry but hope the comedy lightened your mood. It must have, since you're posting laughs for our viewing pleasure.

Did you see that story on the newspage today? About how happiness is contagious? Even your next-door neighbor's happiness! Up to three degrees of separation or something like that. To the good cheer virus! May it spread and replicate and make us merry!!!

Wow, my verification code is Oval Id I.

The word verification thing, I believe, is becoming more word-like because it is much easier for people to type a nonsense word than to hunt and peck for random letters strung together. I, for one, am glad they have done so!

Sorry about the poop, though.

I've been noticing that too...

And I LOVE the Cup o' Soup skit. I could watch it a thousand times. It never gets old.

Serendipity between word verification and pets; the world is alright after all.

HULU is streamed only in the US for the moment.

I still don't 'get it', the reason for word verification...It is a nuisance. There are quite a few posts about it today.

But it is true that hey are becoming more and more like funny words, this one is rerap...

Recently on another blog my "word verification" was "Viagra" do you suppose this was an advertising ploy? Yikes!

Poolog! Haha! Well, mine is ' resse', which I guess is close enough to 'restless' - what my nights are right now!

I can't see the vid, either, but I'm assuing that it's the one they call 'SNL - dancing soup' on You Tube? Yes, that's funny!! LOL!

My shoulder, by the way, was a transverse rotator cuff tear - the front part of the tendon had come off the bone. It measured 1.4 x 1.6cm on the scan, but he said it was bigger when he got in there. No wonder it's sore, huh? And even more purple, now ...

Sorry about the 'gift' Bodhi left you.
