Serenity

For me, and for all my friends who are dealing with more than they think they can handle, God grant us all serenity...

....before my head explodes or something!

I know the first part of this quote but didn't know the rest. It is something I have to chant to myself quite regularly.

Things are still bad for you by the sound of it and I am sorry about that. Hang on there....... things HAVE to get better, after all sometimes when you are down, the only way back is up. Life is like a bungee, bouncing up and down, but eventually it settles down & you are rescued.

Word verification swelloof!!!!! They are getting weirder by the minute!

Take care my friend. X

It's not fair! I want to wail that phrase like a child, it really isn't fair, why do bad things happen to good people?

Some times we have to weep and wail, and rail against the night. I don't know what to say, how to help I can only hope that this huge surge of love that boils around blogland towards you, gives you the strength to fight another day and then another, until the darkness lifts and warm bright light shines on you once again.

Ah, yes. Serenity. I'm sure I'll find it again one day ...

As Moannie says, right now I just want to wail 'It's not fair!!' and I was always one of those who accepted that life isn't, and never would be, fair.

Chin up, D. We can get through this.

Very thought provoking words. Just want to add I like the words on your sidebar also which read "when visiting a hospital spend a few minutes with someone who has no visitors." I don't visit people in hospital much but when I have done I have also felt a little sadness for the people (esp if they're old) who don't have any visitors.

Thanks so much for this, darlin'. I need it. I've listened to the J-man squall for two hours, refusing to go to sleep. I've listened to the twins get in and out of their beds, not going to sleep, either. And Ty-man isn't here, but working.

Serenity. I need serenity and vodka.

Hey Momma,

Serenity, such a beautiful word eh? and it seems so unattainable , at least to me, lol. I don't know what u are having to endure my friend, but, I do know all pain is pain, regardless of the source, it hurts. So, I pray for u now and thank you for the prayer offered. Brighter days are in the future dear friend, please believe it to be true :)
take care,
